You wanted it, so we're doing it! The Baby and Me outlet in Hillsboro will be open on Tuesdays. Starting on August 17, you can shop from 10 - 5 from Tuesday through Saturday. That's an extra day of great bargains of up to 75% off.

And don't forget the sidewalk sale every last Saturday of the month!

Baby and Me in Cedar Mill and in Tigard are open Monday - Saturday from 10 - 5 and on Sundays from 11 - 4.

Monthly sidewalk sale at Baby & Me

On the last Saturday of each month, the Hillsboro Outlet will hold a sidewalk sale. Merchandise included in the sidewalk sale will be at least 25% off with some discounts up to 75% off! Stop by for some great deals on new summer wear now that the kids have outgrown last year's! Get a head start on back-to-school shopping. Or find a great deal on a gift for an expectant or new parent.

For the initial purchase of $25.00 over store credit spent, you will receive a gift card loaded with 10 visits. You will get your first credit with this initial purchase and walk out with 9 visits on the card. Each time you purchase a minimum $10.00 above your store credit, you receive another visit credit. After 10 visits your gift card is automatically loaded with $10.00 for purchase of merchandise in our stores! This is good at all locations!

Baby and Me supports United Cerebral Palsy

Baby and Me is a huge supporter of United Cerebral Palsy! As you probably know, we have a 12 year old son, Cameron, who has Cerebral Palsy in the Baby and Me "family"! We are starting a team for the 5th annual Walk 'n' Roll in order to raise money and awareness for United Cerebral Palsy of Oregon and Southwest Washington.

This event is the primary funding source for UCP'S Family Support Program that supports more than 750 families in Oregon and Sw Washington. Your participation and /or donation helps keep this vital and irreplacable option in place for families and kids impacted by development disabilities! Please join us in creating a community for everyone!

Hillsboro store to reopen as discount outlet on June 1

Exciting changes are happening at Baby and Me in Hillsboro! Beginning on June 1, the Hillsboro store will re-open as a clearance outlet. The Baby and Me outlet will offer up to 75% off all items--all the time!

What does this mean for you?

We will no longer accept consignment at the Hillsboro location. Please see us in our Cedar Mill or Tigard locations for your consignment needs.
If you are a Cedar Mill or Tigard consignor who prefers to donate items that do not sell, you will automatically recieve up to 3 additional months to sell your items in the outlet store! Don't worry--all sold items, outlet or otherwise, will be posted at the store you dropped off in.
Shopping at the Baby and Me outlet means phenomenal prices all the time for on- and off-season merchandise.

On June 1, the blitz begins! Outlet shopping--worth the drive!

Tigard AND Cedar Mill stores open on Sundays

Can't get to Baby and Me during the week? Need something to do on Sundays while the hub watches the game and the kids finish their homework? Drop by the Tigard or the Cedar Mill store which are now open on Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm. You can also bring your consignments, but no payouts will be made on Sundays. So stop on by and find great clothes, toys, books, and other items for your babies and kids.

CPSC Lead Laws Clarification for Baby and Me Customers and Consignors

To Our Valued Customers and Consignors,

In response to the Consumer Products Information Act, all resale and thrift stores waited anxiously this week for the CPSC to clarify the requirements for the new lead laws going into effect on February 10, 2009. Yesterday, the commission clarified that all resalers and thrift stores were NOT required to retain Lead Certifications on the products that are sold in our stores. We ARE required to be diligent about recalled items that may come through our doors. Baby and Me has ALWAYS been in contact with the Consumer Product Safety Commissions website to check recalls almost every day. We want you to know that it is business as usual at Baby and Me and you can rest assured that all equipment and furniture, toys and clothing are checked for safety and suitability for selling.

We love that we are able to bring this service to your community. In these tough economic times, we need your support in order to continue to be able to do business in your neighborhood.
